Fernando Mendoza has thrown for 1,923 yards and 24 touchdowns, placing him in the top tier of candidates for the Heisman, which honors the top player in college football.
Mendoza leads the country in passing touchdowns, ranks second nationally in quarterback rating and is fifth in completion percentage.
The 2025 Heisman Trophy will be awarded on Saturday, December 13, at 8 p.m. ET.
