IU football defensive lineman Kellan Wyatt, who suffered a knee injury in Saturday’s win against Michigan State, will be out for the foreseeable future.
The 6-foot-2, 257-pound transfer from Maryland has been an impactful addition this season for the Hoosiers on the line.
At his Monday press conference in Bloomington, Curt Cignetti announced that Wyatt’s injury is considered long term.
“Wyatt suffered a knee injury,” Cignetti said. “Right now it looks like a long term injury. I’m not sure if we will see him the rest of the season.”
Through seven games, Wyatt has 12 solo tackles, eight tackles for a loss and 2.
