Miikka Muurinen is the latest prospect in the class of 2026 to receive a scholarship offer from the IU basketball coaching staff.
Muurinen, a native of Finland, announced the offer in his Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon in addition to an offer from North Carolina State.
The 6-foot-10 forward plays at Compass Prep in Arizona and is expected to announce his list of top seven schools on Friday.
The 247Sports Composite rankings have Muurinen as the second-best power forward prospect in the rising senior class and the No. 9 player nationally.
According to his profile at 247Sports, he has scholarship offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan, Utah, Alabama, BYU, Cincinnati, Duke, Illinois, North Carolina, Texas Tech and UCLA, among others.
