BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Thanks to the support of thousands of loyal Hoosiers, the IU Varsity Club recently established a new fundraising record for annual giving. During the 2017-18 campaign that ended June 30, $12.642 million was raised to help pay the estimated $16.6 million scholarship bill that IU Athletics pays the university for the 2017-2018 academic year.
"Varsity Club donors continue to make an enormous, lasting difference in the lives of our students who compete in intercollegiate athletics," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass.
