SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Indiana University men's soccer's Andrew Gutman was named one of three finalists for the 2018 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy on Friday, United Soccer Coaches announced. The three finalists were determined by voting from NCAA Division I soccer coaches.
Gutman, along with Denver's Andre Shinyashiki and Kentucky's J.J. Williams, are the three finalists for the prestigious. The MAC Hermann Trophy has been awarded annually since 1967.
A unanimous selection as Big Ten Defender of the Year and First-Team All-Big Ten, Gutman also earned First-Team All-North Region accolades this season.
