Indiana running back Lee Beebe Jr. will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Beebe suffered the knee injury in Friday’s 73-0 win against Indiana State at Memorial Stadium.
Curt Cignetti made the announcement of Beebe’s status for the remainder of the season in his Monday press conference in Bloomington.
“Beebe sustained a non-contact knee injury and will be lost for the season,” Cignetti told reporters.
Halfway into the third quarter, Lee Beebe Jr rushed to the left through a hole opened by the offensive line. He then cut with his right leg, suffering the injury without being contacted.
