BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats, 6-2, on Wednesday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind.
With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 9-6 on the season overall, while Cincinnati falls to 7-8 on the year.
KEY MOMENTS
• Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, CF put the Hoosiers ahead with a line-drive, three-run homer over the right-field fence. Richardson's fifth of the year put IU ahead, 3-1, after three full.
• Richardson came through again with two outs for the Hoosiers in the bottom of the fifth.
