Indiana Suffers Defeat at Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Indiana men's soccer (12-4-1, 5-2-0 B1G) couldn't overcome two Maryland (12-3-1, 5-2-1 B1G) goals in the first 11 minutes of the second half, and fell, 2-0, to the home side Sunday (Oct. 31) afternoon at Ludwig Field.

With the result, and Penn State's win against Wisconsin, Indiana takes the No. 3 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. The Hoosiers will host the No. 6 seed next Sunday, November 7, on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

"Obviously, it's difficult losing a title opportunity," IU men's soccer coach Todd Yeagley said.
