Indiana Reclaims the Old Oaken Bucket, Beats Purdue 44-41 in Double Overtime

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana football team (8-4, 5-4 Big Ten) outlasted the Purdue Boilermakers (4-8, 3-6 Big Ten) by a score of 44-41 (2OT) to take the Old Oaken Bucket back for the first time since the 2016 season at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The game marked the 95th with the traveling trophy at stake and the 122nd overall meeting between the long-term in-state rivals.

The victory gives Indiana eight wins on the season for the sixth time in program history and the first time since the 1993 season.

Redshirt junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey finished the game completing 23-of-39 pass attempts for 337 yards and three touchdowns.
