Indiana football fans disapprove of the program’s moves to cancel its non-conference series against power conference competition, according to a reacts survey we ran the other week:
Indiana made the move to cancel the full series against Louisville, which was set to last for three seasons, in 2023 prior to the hiring of Curt Cignetti. Just one game was played, a neutral site loss at Lucas Oil Stadium that same year.
Now Indiana has reportedly moved to cancel its series against Virginia, agreeing to a buyout with the Cavaliers’ athletic department and moving to schedule lesser competition in their stead.
