Indiana Homers Twice Late to Beat Syracuse 4-3

DURHAM, N.C. – Indiana Softball (3-6) won their final game of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Sunday (Feb. 16) morning against Syracuse by a final score of 4-3. The Hoosiers hit two home runs late in the ballgame to score four runs in a comeback victory.

KEY MOMENTS

  • Syracuse put up a two spot in the bottom of the first inning with three hits and an infield error. They added a third run in the second with a pair of hits and an error.
  • The Hoosiers broke through in the top of the sixth inning as Desiree Dufek hit her second home run of the season over the fence in center field bringing home pinch runner Chloe Steinhaus as well.
