Indiana guard Rob Phinisee, the program’s backup for Xavier Johnson this past season, has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
Phinisee made the announcement via Twitter on Friday morning in a letter to Indiana fans.
“Hoosier nation,” Phinisee wrote. “I’d like to thank you all for your continued support through all the ups and down these past 4 years. Through it all you have stuck with me and supported me to continue my journey.
“After talking with my family, I have decided I will be entering my name in the transfer portal as a grad transfer for the 2022-23 season.
