Indiana freshman forward Jordan Geronimo is entering the NCAA transfer portal, he confirmed on Thursday.
The 6-foot-6 forward from Newark, New Jersey appeared in 22 games as a freshman and averaged 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 8.1 minutes per game. He shot 55.6 percent on 2s and 40 percent on 3s.
His playing time was sporadic throughout the season as he never carved out a consistent role under Archie Miller. Geromino’s best performance as a freshman came on Jan. 21 when he scored seven points in Indiana’s 81-69 win over Iowa at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
