Indiana Football: Should Hoosiers explore Ohio State transfer?

Ohio State running back/wide receiver Jaelen Gill entered the transfer portal and will be looking for somewhere new to play. He came to Ohio State as a highly recruited running back, but the Buckeyes switched him out to wide receiver.

He didn’t play much as a freshman and only got 63 snaps as a sophomore where he caught just five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.

Gill was a great running back in high school, but his size made Ohio State move him to wide receiver. They didn’t think he could be an every-down back. He has great hands and has breakaway speed, so he can still be a very dangerous piece to someone’s offense.
