LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Behind clean sweeps of nine of the 10 weight classes, the Indiana Wrestling team kicked off its 2021-2022 season with a pair of commanding 40-3 wins over SIUE and Bellarmine.
With the victory, IU goes to 2-0 on the season in the early stages of the non-conference schedule.
KEY MOMENTS (SIUE)
• Sophomore Jacob Moran (125) got things off to a quick start with a dominant 18-2, tech fall victory to give IU a 5-0 lead.
• Graduate student Brock Hudkins (133) recorded IU's first fall of the afternoon in his victory over Matt Malavsky.
