Indiana Comes from Behind to Beat Illinois, 2-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's soccer team scored two second half goals to erase a 1-0 deficit against Illinois and seal a 2-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

• In the 64 minute, scored a goal from well outside the box, sailing it over the goalkeeper's head to equalize the game at 1-1.
• Alone on the break, kicked a long, dribbling shot that snuck inside the left post to give IU the lead in the 79 minute.
• With Illinois threatening to tie, held strong in goal for IU, diving on the ground to save a close Illinois shot in the bottom corner of the net in the 83 minute.
