BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team earned a shutout win over Ohio State, 2-0, in Monday night at Bart Kaufman Field in Bloomington, Ind.
With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 25-16 on the season overall and in Big Ten conference play. The Buckeyes fall to 20-19 on the year and in league action.
• After a scoreless first three innings, Indiana jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, INF earned an RBI with a fielder's choice to the shortstop, who made a diving play to get the runner out at third base to steal a hit away from Bart and prevent any further damage.
