There was some optimism heading into the season for Hoosier fans and the team didn’t disappoint. The questions remained during November, though, was if Indiana was really that good or was it because of a soft schedule.
In a maddeningly inconsistent December on, it seemed like we never knew which team was going to show up. The Hoosiers had more ranked wins than a lot of teams in the country but would have complete breakdowns during games. It was a Jekyll and Hyde type of season for Indiana and one that left fans scratching their head.
It was a season that was probably going to get the Hoosiers back to the NCAA tournament for the first time in three years, but also one that saw them having to play on the first day of the Big Ten tournament.
