June 15 is a big day for recruiting in terms of the communication a college coach and a recruit can have, and the Indiana basketball staff took full advantage of it.
Per the NCAA, June 15 marks the first day a coach can have direct phone contact with 2021 recruits. While coaches would obviously still recruit these prospects, it was all through face-to-face contact, now it can be over the phone.
So what does this all mean? Mainly not much, but there has been some good to come from it.
Indiana got off to a hot start when the clock struck midnight as they made multiple calls to many top 2021 recruits.
