Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers overcome slow start to rout Nebraska

Indiana basketball came out of the gates slow but eventually turned on the jets and picked up a much-needed win against Nebraska, 89-64.

The Hoosiers played a gritty end to the first half finishing on a 16-1 run, with the spark being Devonté Green, who finished the game with 12 points.

The Hoosiers got big and dominated the paint with Trayce Jackson-Davis, Justin Smith, Race Thompson, Joey Brunk and De’Ron Davis. Trayce recorded a double-double scoring 11 points and adding a staggering 17 rebounds, which was a career-high. Smith added 12 points and six rebounds.

The Hoosiers opened the second half strong with a 23-11 run but succumbed the 21 point lead with Nebraska cutting it to nine with eight minutes to go in the second half.
