Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers kept in check but outlast Portland State by 11

After defeating Western Illinois in the season opener, the Indiana basketball program was back in Assembly Hall on Saturday for a matchup against Portland State. The Hoosiers came away the victory by a score of 85-74

Portland State kept the Hoosiers within arms reach all of the first half with the biggest lead being 11 right before the half. The Hoosiers shot 48.4 percent from the field in the first half, and used its size to its advantage, going to the line for a total of 15 free throws, making 11.
