The Hoosiers opened their 2020 season last weekend with a three-game set against national power LSU. The Tigers looked like the better team in the first two games, but the Hoosiers were able to battle back and salvage a win in the third and final game of the series.
Even with the two losses, it was a big win for Indiana and one that showed they could beat one of the best teams in the country. The Hoosiers are a young team, but second-year head coach Jeff Mercer has repeatedly said they aren’t afraid of anyone and they need to play the best to get better.
