In their third straight weekend trip away from Bloomington, the Hoosiers were able to go 2-1 including a win over top-20 and host East Carolina. The Keith LeClair classic hosted by the Pirates included the host team, Indiana, High Point, and 15th ranked Ole Miss.
The Hoosiers started the weekend off by playing East Carolina on Friday afternoon. It was supposed to be an appetizer for the Pirates before their top-20 showdown with the Rebels on Saturday, but somebody forgot to tell Indiana the plans.
The Hoosiers scored two in the first and four in the third to grab a 6-3 lead after three innings.
