Three-time All-Star Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies can now add 2025 MLB All-Star MVP to his resume after his performance last night in Atlanta.
Schwarber overcame the opening booos in the intro to win MVP of the game last night. The National and American Leagues found themselves in a tie after nine innings, leading to Major League Baseball’s first-ever “swing off” to decide who would win the All-Star Game.
With three chances at the plate, Schwarber went a perfect three for three, knocking each pitch out of the park and giving the National League the lead, and eventually securing the victory.
