Bloomington, Ind. – After a disappointing five set loss to Samford earlier in the day, the Indiana volleyball team responded with an emotional five set victory (15-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 15-10) against Florida Gulf Coast to close out the Hoosier Classic on Saturday at University Gym.
With the win, the Hoosiers finish the non-conference portion of their schedule at 11-1, the best start since the 2010 team started 12-0.
"Our resiliency was really good tonight," IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said. "We got thumped in the first set and you wonder how a young team is going to respond.
