Hoosiers Suffer Tough One-Run Loss to No. 17 Kentucky, 7-6

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Nineteenth-ranked Indiana baseball (31-14) dropped a midweek contest to No. 17 Kentucky by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday evening.

The Hoosiers out-hit Kentucky 12-11 in the contest, and got multi-hit efforts from sophomore Matt Gorski, junior Ryan Fineman, senior Logan Sowers, freshman Drew Ashley and sophomore Jeremy Houston. Indiana had two home runs from Fineman and Ashley in the loss.

On the mound, sophomore Andrew Saalfrank started and allowed three hits over three innings.
