BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Women's Basketball will start off the 2019-20 season in the Associated Press preseason Top 25, coming in at No. 24 with the release of the preseason poll on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hoosiers are ranked in the preseason for the second time in program history, last appearing at No. 23 in 2016-17. It marks IU's seventh time appearing in the AP Top 25 as the Hoosiers spent two weeks at No. 25 last season (Jan. 7-Jan. 14). It adds to the list of preseason honors for Indiana, who were selected to finish third (coaches) and fourth (media) in the Big Ten preseason polls.
