Hoosiers Put Up 12-Run Inning to Mount Comeback Against Spartans

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Softball stormed back from a 6-0 deficit to defeat Michigan State in game one of the series Friday afternoon at Andy Mohr Field, 13-8.

KEY MOMENTS
• The Spartans put up five runs in the third inning, first on a bases loaded walk to Kaitlyn Eveland and then on a grand slam by Caitie Ladd.
• Michigan State made it 6-0 in the fourth by taking advantage of an Indiana error to bring in Abby Joseph.
• The Hoosiers got to work in the bottom of the fourth, loading the bases four separate times to put up a 12-run inning.
