BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's basketball team defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 65-43, on Monday night in Piscataway, N.J.
Junior Juwan Morgan led the Hoosiers (13-12, 6-7 Big Ten) with a game-high 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the floor with eight rebounds. The 20-point game was Morgan's fifth in the last six games.
The story of the game was the Hoosier defense, which limited Rutgers to just 24.1 percent (13-of-54) shooting, while forcing 12 turnovers. The 43 points allowed are the fewest allowed in a Big Ten game for IU since Jan.
