Hoosiers Host Big Ten Outdoor Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University track and field will open their postseason competition this weekend when they host the Big Ten Outdoor Championships on Friday, May 11 through Sunday, May 13. Indiana last hosted the Championships in 2010.

The Hoosiers head into the weekend with the goal to improve their team performances from last year. The men tied-for-eighth with Michigan and the women finished eighth. There will be a total of 45 athletes wearing candy stripes on the track and in the field with 31 of them having a top-10 ranking, which includes four relays.

In the field, junior Nycia Ford will get the Hoosiers started on Friday in the women's hammer throw at 12:00 pm ET.
