COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Hoosiers fell in a close battle on the road to the Maryland Terrapins, 73-70, at Maryland's XFINITY Center on Tuesday evening. James Blackmon Jr. led all players with 22 points, making 4-of-8 from the arc and 9-of-15 from the field.
Tonight's performance made Blackmon Jr. the 50th player in Indiana history to surpass 1,000 career points, and he reached the milestone at the 11th-fastest pace.
