Hoosiers Clinch Series Against Penn State with Saturday Sweep

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Indiana Softball clinched the series against Penn State on Saturday as the Hoosiers took both games at Beard Field, 2-0 and 5-2.

KEY MOMENTS
After a quiet start for both team's offenses, Penn State got its first hit of the game on a one-out double in the fourth by Destiny Weber. Another double off the bat of Ally Kurland threatened to break the stalemate as pinch runner Christa Wagner attempted to come all the way home from second, but leftfielder Tete Hart connected with catcher Bella Norton to get her out at the plate.
