Hoosiers Break Record for Best Start in Program History

MACON, Ga. – The No. 19-ranked Indiana Softball team pushed its record to 13-0 on Saturday, defeating North Carolina A&T, 7-1, before taking down Mercer in 11 innings, 8-7. Indiana is officially off to the best start in program history, surpassing the 11-0 start from the 1990 team.

In addition, the 13-game winning streak is the best since a 15-game streak in 2011. The longest winning streak in IU history came in the form of a 16-game stretch in 1994.
