A couple strong pitching performances and Brian Wilhite's bat powered the Hoosiers to bookend wins this weekend over Western Carolina, giving the club its first series win of the year.
Indiana got what they desperately needed this weekend -- a series win. The Hoosiers ran into a buzzsaw in the second game this weekend, but were able to turn two pitching starts of their own into wins, taking games one and three 3-2 and 9-1, respectively, and improving to 5-8 on the season.
