Crown Point guard Grant Gelon became the first member of Indiana’s 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday when he committed on an unofficial visit to Bloomington.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 14.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last season at Crown Point and had offers from Central Michigan, Illinois-Chicago, IUPUI, Youngstown State, Western Carolina, Iona and Toledo.

In the adidas Summer Championships in Las Vegas, Gelon averaged 9.4 points and 2.1 rebounds per game and shot 43.
