SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Rising senior guard Grace Berger helped USA to an overall 6-0 record and a gold medal as it defeated host Puerto Rico on Saturday night, 74-59, at Coliseo Roberto Clemente.
Through the duration of the tournament, the Louisville, Ky. native averaged 6.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game. She posted her best game in the quarterfinals against the U.S. Virgin Islands with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. She shot 44 percent from the floor and went 81.8 percent at the free throw line.
