Former Indiana Baseball Star Kyle Schwarber finished in NL MVP Award Race

Former Indiana baseball All-American, current Philadelphia Phillies All-Star and future Indiana Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Kyle Schwarber has had one of the best careers since he's enter the MLB in 2015. Schawrber has a total of 340 career home runs, which included 56 home runs during the 2025 regular season.

Those 56 home runs which was second in the MLB helped Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillesfinish second in National League MVP voting for the 2025 season.

The results were announced by the Baseball Writers Association of America on November 13th.

Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter and starting pitcher Shohei Othani won the 2025 NL MVP Award, receiving all 30 first-place votes for a total of 420.
