Eric Gordon wins NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award

At tonight’s NBA Awards, Eric Gordon was named the Sixth Man of the Year over fellow finalists Lou Williams and Andre Iguodala. Gordon was a key player this year for the Houston Rockets, as he added a scoring punch off the bench by averaging just over 16 points per game. Gordon made his money from behind the three point line, as he averaged 3.3 made threes per game to go along with a 37.2% three point percentage.

This was Gordon’s ninth season in the league, and his first with Houston. Gordon appeared in 75 games this season, and helped lead the Rockets to a 55-27 record and the 3 seed in the Western Conference.
