You cannot appropriately quantify what the Indiana Hoosiers have done the last two years under head coach Curt Cignetti. Since coming over from James Madison, IU has gone 11-2 and now 12-0 in back-to-back seasons. Their two losses are to Ohio State during Big Ten play last year and at in-state rival Notre Dame during the first round of last season's College Football Playoff. IU has not lost since.
While there is no doubt how good of a head coach Cignetti, or the sheer amount of investment the university is putting into him and the football program, there was always one major concern when it comes to IU having staying power.
