SEA ISLAND, GEORGIA – Indiana redshirt junior Jake Brown finished tied for 25th recently at the Jones Cup Invitational played at Ocean Forest Golf Club this past weekend (Jan. 26-28). The field included many of the top amateur golfers in the country.
Brown posted scores of 83-71-69 over the three days for a score of 7-over par 223.
"The tournament was a blast," said Brown. "For the first round, the course was brutally tough and I was not able to get comfortable. The next day, with virtually no wind, I was able to birdie my first hole and continued to gain confidence.
