BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their regional awards for the 2021-22 indoor track & field season. Associate Head Coach Ed Beathea of Indiana Track & Field was named the Men's Assistant Head Coach of the Year for the Great Lakes Region.
"Ed can certainly take pride in his work with Rikkoi Brathwaite as he developed into one of the top 60 meter runners in the world," said Head Coach Ron Helmer. "Rikkoi's progress has been steady and consistent and has taken him to performances no other Big Ten sprinter has seen in that event.
