BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - A relationship that began in 1976 when Mike Woodson first came to the IU campus will be rekindled as Anitra House will assume the role of Assistant to the Head Coach for the men's basketball program.
A native of southern Indiana who graduated from Silver Creek High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education/social studies and a master's degree in reading. She has completed coursework for a Doctorate and has finished all but her dissertation in language education.
House first began her association with IU Athletics in 1974 as a tutor under Buzz Kurpius who was hired as an Assistant Football Coach for Academics in 1974-75.
