Allen lands 3-star Georgia receiver for 2021

Indiana coach Tom Allen lined up another offensive skill player for his 2021 class on Friday, taking a verbal commitment from three-star receiver Jordyn Williams.

The 6-foot-1 Georgia native chose the Hoosiers over offers from Alabama, Louisville, Tennessee, Maryland, Ole Miss, Washington State and Wake Forest, among others. He’s considered the No. 110 receiver in his class and the No. 63 overall player from Georgia, per the 247 Sports Composite. Rivals rates Williams as the No. 99 receiver in 2021 and the No. 71 player in his home state. ESPN grades him as a four-star prospect.

Williams is the sixth member of IU’s 2021 class and the third skill player on offense, joining backfield speedster David Holloman and tight end Aaron Steinfeldt.
