It looks like Indiana’s non-conference schedule is just about full.
North Alabama recently posted its men’s basketball season slate, which includes a game at Assembly Hall on Sunday, Dec. 13. Given what we know about IU’s schedule, that should just about do it for non-conference opponents.
The NCAA is permitting teams to play up to 27 games during the regular season, provided they are participating in a three-game, multi-team event. For IU, that’s the Maui Invitational. So, with an expected 20-game Big Ten schedule — which has not yet been finalized — and the games Indiana already appears to have on the books, it feels like the Hoosiers’ out-of-league scheduling is all set:
