BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Big Ten Conference recognized a total of 1,385 students competing in fall sports who have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team Wednesday.
The list of honorees includes 120 field hockey students, 489 football students, 117 men's and 205 women's cross country students, 99 men's and 233 women's soccer students and 122 volleyball students.
Indiana had a total of 83 honorees on the list for the fall of 2019.
"We are very proud of these 83 individuals for their success in the classroom," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass.
