1V8 Leads Indiana To Fourth Place at Big Ten Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Indiana women's rowing team, ranked No. 16 in the national polls this week and the fifth out of six Big Ten crews in the polls, ended the Big Ten Championships tied with Iowa for fourth place with 106 points at Eagle Creek Park. This marks the fourth straight year that Indiana has finished the conference championship in fourth place.

The fourth place finish likely secures a fourth consecutive bid to the NCAA Championships for the Hoosiers. The NCAA Championships take place May 26-28 in West Windsor, N.J.

Following the regatta, the All-Big Ten awards were handed out and senior Emily Barber was named First Team All-Big Ten while Emily Fekete and Hanna Henry garnered Second Team All-Big Ten honors.
