ST. LOUIS – The No. 1 doubles tandem of Tijana Zlatanovic and Tara Damnjanovic continue to be solid for the Illinois State women's tennis team and for their efforts in a win at Saint Louis, the duo was named the Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week on Wednesday.
This marks the second time this season that the duo has earned MVC weekly honors, after previously being named MVC Doubles Team of the Week on March 3.
"Tijana and Tara have been working a lot on their doubles game and it's really taken them out of their comfort zone," ISU head coach Maja Kovacek stated.
