NORMAL, Ill. – Women's Tennis finished the first day of the Halloween Classic after playing two singles matches and one doubles match. The Redbirds finishedl 2-10 on the day and are looking to bounce back tomorrow.
The Redbird's played round robin style, playing a different team for each match. The first match they played against New Mexico in a doubles match, and they saw New Mexico State and Iowa State respectively in singles.
Against New Mexico, the pair of Tara Damnjanovic and Natalia Bravo fell to Ruth Copas and Danielle Quevedo 2-6, and Lara Fitzgerald and Jana Kustkova fell to Lauren rich and Natasha Munday 2-6.
