FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Sophomore Frankie Saban (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) is tied for sixth, while two other Braves are also in the top 10 in the field as the trio helped the Bradley women's golf team finish the first day of the Bradley Spring Break Invitational in second in the team standings.
The Braves turned in rounds of 308 and 300 at the par-71 Brookhaven Country Club Monday and currently sit in second in the 10-team field at 608, 11 shots behind Northern Illinois (597).
Saban has carded seven of her eight rounds this spring in the 70's, firing scores of 76 and 75 and is tied for sixth overall at 151 heading into Tuesday's final round.
