ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Illinois State women's golf team, which recently closed its regular season play by finishing in the top half of each of the team's tournaments this season, was picked to finish third at the upcoming MVC Championship, hosted at Bogey Hills Golf Club in St. Charles, Missouri.
The Redbirds earned 78 poll points and three first-place votes for their third place standing. Missouri State is the pre-Championships favorite with 89 points and three first-place votes, while Southern Illinois has been picked to finish second with 87 points and with three first-place votes.
